- "Services" means the SadaPOS point of sale and inventory management platform, including the web application (app.sadapos.com), the website (sadapos.com), and any features or functionality provided by us.
- "Customer" or "Merchant" means the person or entity who registers to use the Service. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business, you agree that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.
- "You" means the Customer and any authorized users (employees) under the Customer’s account.
2. Identifying the Data Controller and Data Processor
For the purposes of global privacy laws:
- SadaPOS is the Controller for Customer (Merchant) Information.
- SadaPOS is the Processor for Consumer (your customers) and Employee Information, where the Merchant is the Controller.

3. Types of Personal Data Collected
We collect and use several types of data, including:
- Personal Data: Your first and last name, email address, business name, and telephone number.
- Business Data: Information about products, inventory, pricing, sales, transactions, and taxes that you input into the system.
- Consumer Information: Personal information relating to the consumers with whom you interact (your shop's customers), such as their names or phone numbers for invoicing.
- Employee Information: Information relating to your staff members who use the system under your account.
4. How and What Information We Collect
- Account Registration: We collect information when you create an account or modify your profile.
- Operational Data: We store the information you upload (inventory, sales records, etc.).
- Offline-First Functionality: To provide offline access, some data is stored locally on your device's secure browser storage and is synchronized with our cloud servers when an internet connection is available.
- Payment Information: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. They collect and process your payment card details securely. SadaPOS does not store your full credit card information on its servers.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your information only where:
- It is necessary to provide the Services to you.
- It satisfies a legitimate interest (such as research, development, and security).
- We need to comply with a legal obligation.
- You have given us explicit consent.
6. Sharing & Disclosure of Your Information

- Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party partners for cloud hosting, infrastructure, and payment processing (Paddle). These providers have access to your information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf.
